Our Training Process

Bait and Dogs – Poisoning of dogs is common.

Toxic baits are widely available and target everything from slugs and snails to feral foxes, dogs, and pigs. If poisoning is suspected, you need to seek immediate veterinary attention.

Bait Aversion Pty Ltd have a collaboration with DBCA and ACTA toxic bait manufactures, we have sourced the identical product to Probait and FOXOFF without toxins to use during the training. Sodium fluoroacetate (1080 poison) the active ingredient is highly lethal. We also add dried roo meat as it is also often used during baiting programmes.

Our Bait Aversion Training for dogs uses an energiser called Bait Aversion Device (BAD) and e-collar that will give a correction to any dog that touches the target. Based on a very successful scientific research project, our program replicates the methodology incorporated in the original behaviour modification trials.
